
The Alaska chapter is an affiliate of the national American Society of Training and Development, a non-profit educational society.
Mission
The purpose of the Alaska chapter of ASTD is to serve as a local network for linking individuals and organizations with learning resources and opportunities in the training and development field.
Governance
The chapter is governed and managed by a Board of Directors elected by the membership.
Membership
Membership in the chapter is open to those who have interests of responsibilities in training, human resource development, workplace learning and performance, and are support of the objectives of the chapter and the Society. Members may also participate in the Special Interest Groups (SIGs) such as eLearning and Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP).
