February 8th - Learning New Tricks: Transforming Traditional Training using Today's Technology - Cheryl Westley presents her case study:
Working at a distance with team members in Seattle, Cheryl used the learning platform Moodle to convert a traditional lecture on diabetes into a 4 week online class for vocational rehabilitation counselors. She will talk about steps in course development and design, show the class outline on Moodle, and talk about the experience of facilitating the actual course.
